Up and coming BlackBelt Music Group artist Lenny Harold held his release event for his debut album titled The Journal of Wonders: A Tale Of The Phoenix and The Moon Labyrinth. Held at Highline ballroom in alliance with Party Rebel, Forrest Renaissance, & Cass Maya, the event featured some live performances by Olamide, Akil dasan (winner of Missy Elliot’s TV show, “The Road to Stardom”) Brittany Campbell, DJ moMa, DJ Madsol, DJ Stimulus, and DJ Deffrei of Ahficionados.
Lenny Harold also shut down the party with a stunning performance with an 8-piece band. The event had over 300 people in attendance and among them were important taste-makers and celebrities like Ronnie James, Anita Bryant, Meleni Smith, Amanda Brown, Chester Gregory, to name a few.

Emerging artist Lenny Harold has released his long anticipated debut album, a work of art which will undoubtedly capture the minds and hearts of music lovers worldwide.
On March 20th, 2011, two days prior to the album’s unveiling, New York City’s Highline Ballroom was the site for some of the industry’s brightest talent in honor of Lenny Harold’s LP premiere. Hosted by FR Agency’s creative director, Forrest Renaissance, the celebration featured sets and performances by DJ Moma, DJ Madsol, Deffrei of the Ahficionados, Akil Dasan, Brittany Campbell, Olamide, and a special concert by Lenny Harold himself.
Released March 22nd, 2011, The Journal of Wonders: Tale of the Phoenix in the Moon Labyrinthe, is an eclectic mixture of R&B and Soul with hints of Pop, Rock, and Jazz that will grab any listener’s attention from start to finish— a unique sound which the artist himself has coined as “hybrid soul”. The album consists of fourteen original songs; production by Cass Maya, collaborations with Taylor Ryan and Solomon Cortes of WMC Productions, and the support of renowned musicians and writers responsible for some of the greatest hits in mainstream music history.
The recent release of Lenny’s debut album has been a highly anticipated point in his career, and after a 24-hour free digital release, the album has generated over 5,000 plays and over 500 downloads to date. “I’m excited about this project!” Lenny explained. “I’ve collaborated with genius musicians and songwriters that captivate and describe the heart in ways not yet understood. The honesty of this album will give everyone a way to relate to it.”
